Cetara

The pretty village of Cetara has a picturesque Saracen watchtower and a small beach. Of all the villages along the Amalfi coast, this one has the most active fishing fleet.


The fascinating Camargue region of France is located south of Arles in the Rhône River delta. It is an area of wetlands, pastures, salt flats and dunes. This region is well known for its population of pink flamingoes, black bulls, white horses, cowboys and Gypsies.

The Ciane river empties into the great harbor of Siracusa in Sicily. The Ciane's course runs parallel to the Anapo river. Originally, it is said, that the Ciane was a tributary of the Anapo. The mythology goes on to state that the two rivers flowing parallel to each other, got married like the two river deities: the nymph Ciane became the bride of Anapo.
