Gay-Odin is named after its Piemontese founder Isidore Odin and his assistant Onorina Gay, with whom he fell in love.

Originally from Piemonte, the family moved to Naples and opened their shop in 1894. Visit the original Art Nouveau store on Via Toledo and soak up the ambience. Purchase their chocolate bars wrapped in original stylized graphics or fill a handsome blue oval box (the tops depict delicate scenes of old Naples) with a customized selection of individual chocolates. The chocolate Mt. Vesuvius filled with ganache is a wonder.
