In 1996 Luigi Maffini took over the family's ancient vineyard and dedicated himself to restructuring and new vinification methods. He has nearly replanted the entire vineyard with historical varietals like Aglianico and Fiano and in two hectares he cultivates Piedirosso and Sangiovese.
