image122.jpeg
The Grand Palace Hotel in Rome was originally designed in the 1920's by Marcello Piacentini, the eminent architect of Benito Mussolini.

One of four Boscolo hotels in Rome, this elegant accommodation on the illustrious Via Veneto offers, 87 guestrooms, four suites, a restaurant and spa facilities.

As a curiosity, you may wish to view the lobby's magnificent frescoes by the artist, Guido Cadorin, one of which contains the portrait of Margherita Sarfatti (Mussolini's mistress). Margherita Sarfatti was played by the Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon in her husband's (Tim Robbins) film The Cradle Will Rock
