Florence airport will close for approximately three months.
Due to extensive runway maintenance the airport will close February 2, 2006. Most airlines, namely Alitalia and Luftansa, will transfer their flight operations to Pisa one hour west by train.

We had a chance to visit your wonderful city last August for the 3rd consecutive year,
My husband and I would like to say that we ate at a superb Restrurant near the P.zza Goldoni
called Parione. It was out of this world.
We will be returning this August again and hope to drop in.
