The monumental oak of the Val d'Orcia.


If you are traveling in southern Tuscany, stop a while and enjoy the majesty of this natural treasure and the shade of its huge canopy.

The huge oak tree (Quercus pubescens Willd - roverella- downy oak), is characterized by large, imposing, cross branches. It is 360 years old, 22 mt high, with a diameter of 19 mt; the girth of the trunk is 4.50 mt.
