This small restaurant is on the road from San Casciano to Certaldo. At one time, it did not have a sign, as a matter of fact you still enter through the Alimentari (delicatessen) next to it when it’s open, or the front door of the house when the deli is closed.
The cooking here is excellent and the recited menu is traditional. Ask for Alessandro, who speaks English and can guide you toward the specialties of the house. Try their classic ribollita and for dessert don’t miss the ricotta cheesecake.
