Pinocchio Park

Long before Walt Disney, Pinocchio was a popular story in Italy, written by Carlo Collodi (pseudonym for Carlo Lorenzini) in 1881.

Visit the charming, old-fashioned Pinocchio Park in the small town of Collodi, near Florence. The park has statues and fountains of all the Pinocchio characters, and a delightful puppet show with all the familiar characters.
