The company, founded in 1946 by co-CEOs Pietro and Giovanni Ferrero, is owned by the Ferrero family. Ferrero operates some 16 factories worldwide and sells its sweets in the Americas, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Ferrero is a food producer from Northern Italy. They are famous for Nutella, a hazelnut-chocholate bread spread. You're supposed to spread it on the bread but I've seen people pile huge chunks on bread. You can eat it without bread as well.
Another famous product of them is 'Hanuta'. Two wafers with Nutella-like chocolate cream in between. Square-shaped, 2 by 2 inches.
A third product is 'Duplo'. That's a finger-long and finger-thick chocolate bar filled with a crispy hazelnut mix.
