Badiani is the original Florentine source for fabulous Buontalenti, the egg-yolk-rich flavor probably named for Francesco de' Medici's personal architect, Bernardo Buontalenti.
Fruit flavors are good, but the rich chocolate, smoky, intense nut, and combination flavors are fantastic. The location is a bit out of the way, but this is one of the best gelaterie in Firenze.
