We enjoyed an hour of browsing and a wonderful meal in this exciting gastronomic destination sequestered on a side street in the Piazza di Spagna area.


The restaurant derives its name from its location: the Fascist-style Piazza Augusto Imperatore was created under Mussolini in the 1930's, but the theme here is certainly democratic!

Visit and browse their well-stocked enoteca of regional Italian wines, their cheese cellar (offering an enormous selection with a number of Slow Food recommendations) a specialty food and kitchenware emporium, the restaurant and a more casual osteria,
