Near Capalbio, a fashionable hilltop town near the Tuscan coast, is the famous sculpture gardens of Niki de Sainte-Phalle.
At nearby Pescia Fiorentino, to the southeast of Capalbio, is a modern sculpture garden created by the French artist Niki de Sainte-Phalle in 1982. It was inspired by the mystical figures of the Tarot and has been many years in the making. The bigger pieces each represent one card from the mystic Tarot pack. One sculpture that is complete is the Tower which is a glittering three-story edifice made almost entirely of broken mirrors.
The garden is open from the 15th of May to the 20th of October, every afternoon Sunday excluded) from 2.30 to 7.30. From the November to the May, the President of the Foundation " Ms NIKI DE SAINT PHALLE " has decided to allow free entrance into il Giardino dei Tarocchi on the first Saturday of each month from 9 am to 1pm. In other months the garden can be visited by appointment.

Take S223 in the direction of Grosseto. In Grosseto take Via Aurelia (S1/A12) in the direction of direction Roma. Pass Orbetello and exit Pescia Fiorentina. Go east (left) pass first road to the left and take the second road to the left to the TAROT GARDEN.
