Roberto Wirth, famed general manager of the Hotel Hassler in Rome has created a wine school next to the Spanish Steps.
Wine classes:
Daily guided wine tastings at 20 EURO per person.
Intensive half-day course 130 EURO a person including lunch, advanced reservations necessary.
Three-day course which includes a vineyard visit at EURO 550, excluding accommodations.
A three-day weekend course at EURO 1,000 per person includes accommodations at the stunning villa, Il Palazzetto (scenes from Bernardo Bertolucci's cinematic love poem "Beseiged" were filmed here).
A five-day wine course costs EURO 2,400 and also includes accommodations.
A double room at the four guestroom Il Palazzetto (booked separately) is priced from EURO 250.
