This special torrone of Noto is a soft, tasteful nougat made with whole pistachio nuts from Bronte the pistachio capital of Sicily.
The pistachios are added to orange blossom honey and whisked with eggs and orange rinds on a small fire, with no additives. The processing is similar to the one used for other nougats. When ready, the mass is pressed by hand into wooden blocks.
