Teatro Povera - Montichiello

This sweet little village, dating back to 1230, has a crooked watchtower that can be seen from afar. There is a charming 13th-century parish church and a few shops and trattorias. Monticchiello is known for its Teatro Povera performances each year.

The Santa Croce quarter of the city is a comfortable area to stay while visiting Florence.
