The Cantinetta is owned by the Marchese Piero Antinori winemaking family and is a great lunch spot while enjoying the sites and sounds of Florence.
The restaurant offers the opportunity to taste Antinori’s noble wines like Tignanello, Solaia, Guado al Tasso and the Chianti Classico Riserva Tenute Marchese Antinori by the glass. All classic wines from this 600 year old wine family.
Marchese Piero Antinori and his wife, Princess Francesca Boncompagni Ludovisi have three daughters, Albiera, Allegra and Alessia. The daughters are now leading the Antinori wine empire into the new millenium as the first women since its inception in 1385.
Restaurant is closed Saturday and Sunday.
This is also the International Headquarters of Marchesi Antinori Wine Estates.
