For centuries people have been taking the waters at this natural spa. Many area natives enjoy a thermal bath in the summer evenings during the full moon.
The hot natural thermal pools of San Filippo, in southern Tuscany, come as an amazing surprise to visitors. The water cascades continuously from a hillside at a constant 38C, creating an almost surreal environment. It is located in a tranquil area located between the wood-covered volcanic cone of Monte Amiata and the lovely hills of the Val d'Orcia.
