via travel design, today, added a new home to their growing collection of vacation rentals in France.
A tastefully restored 18th century village house with a pool is located in Mouriès, a picturesque village known for it’s olive oil in the heart of the Baux valley, 12 miles southeast of St. Rémy-de-Provence.
Mouriès has many olive oil producers located in the area, the organic olive oil of Moulin du Mas de Vaudoret is worth investigating.
Mas de Vaudoret olive press is equipped with the latest machinery, combining traditional methods with more modern extraction techniques to produce a oil with a minimal acid content and a very full flavour.
Mas de Vaudoret consists of 35 hectares comprising 8,000 olive trees of which four are local varieties (Salonenque, Grossane, Béruguette, and Verdale des Bouches du Rhône) as well as a smaller collection of pollenizing varieties (Picholine, Bouteillan, Tanche, Cornicabra & Bizarude).
