Pierre Herme

| | Comments (3)

Visit this exciting new shop (opened in 2002) the next time you are in Paris. You'll find pastries and confections by the innovative pastry-chef, Pierre Herme.

Pierre worked with the previous acknowledged master, Gaston Lenôtre (who sold his eponymous pastry shops and bought the winery, Château de Fesles in the Loire). Pierre also worked for the venerable Ladurée and set the standard there before opening shops in Tokyo and consulting in the United States for chefs like David Bouley in New York.

He currently has two shops in Paris:

185, rue de Vaugirard
15th Arrondissement
+(01)-47-83-29-72
+(01)-47-83-89-90 (fax)

72, rue Bonaparte
6th Arrondissement
+(01)-43-54-47-77
+(01)-43-54-94-90
