The hot natural thermal pools of San Fillipo, south of Bagno Vignoni in southern Tuscany come as an amazing surprise to visitors. The water cascades continuously from a hillside at a constant 38C, creating an almost surreal environment in this quiet, wooded corner of Tuscany. For centuries people have been taking the waters here. Many area natives come here in the evenings during the full moon.
