Henri Matisse decorated this entire intimate chapel (for the Dominican Sisters of Monteils - Aveyron) in the town of Vence above St. Paul de Vence. Everything from the stained-glass windows to the priests robes were lovingly designed and made by Matisse for the Dominican nuns who nursed him back to health after a serious illness.
