Two kms from Aci Castello lies the village of Aci Trezza. Off the coast lie the faraglioni rocks called the Islands of the Cyclops, the huge rocks which the giant Polyphemus is supposed to have hurled at the ship of Ulysees. They rest beautifully now in front of the beautiful beach of Lido dei Ciclopi.
