Trullo Bianco sits on a hillside with panoramic views over the olive groves and trulli dotted in the countryside, towards the hilltop towns of Cisternino and Locorotondo. Only 40 minutes drive from the closest international airport, Brindisi. Hi James and Lori,
Trullo Bianco was wonderful. The house and grounds were beautiful and John was extremely nice.
Thank you,
Kathleen & Joe

| Trullo Bianco has recently undergone complete renovation and rebuilding with a project by an Austrian designer and Milanese architect team . The combined Trullo and Masseria style typical and unique to the area have been retained along with internal original stonework and vaulted ceilings. The interior has been sympathetically restored to give a clean minimal space with all possible modern appliances and furnishings.
Trullo Bianco is surrounded by two acres of its own garden and filled with olive trees and fruit trees including pomegranate, fig, apricot, almond and pear, Trullo Bianco provides a wonderfully bucolic setting for the remarkable and vast beach pool, every child's and not so young person's delight.
Puglia enjoys the climate of the Southern Mediterranean but its privileged geographical position between two coastlines ensures that summer temperatures remain comfortable.
The region's varied landscapes of striking natural beauty, its magnificent coastlines boasting sandy beaches to match any in the Mediterranean and wild rocky headlands have forged its reputation as an unbeatable all-year-round destination for visitors in search of sun, culture, cuisine and lazy living.
Puglia, however, sets itself apart from other better-known parts of Italy in many ways, not least of which is the region's very own trullo. Trulli are cone-shaped dwellings built since the 18th century with immensely thick walls offering protection against the summer sun and whose unique architectural design has been used to stunning effect in the conversion of these ancient dwellings into villas which have become very popular as holiday homes.
Accommodations
KITCHEN:
The large open plan living room-kitchen is separated by a double sided open fire place. The living room, furnished with ethnic design furniture from Bali, Brazil and India has an applied Indian marble triptych to one wall. The kitchen is equipped with the most up to date modern appliances.
BEDROOMS/BATHS:
There are 2 double and 2 twin rooms. The trullo double has an impressive black-lacquered Lombok 4-poster bed, which draws the eye up to the high-ceilinged pale-stone dome. The ensuite has double sinks and a large, square-cornered bath plus shower. The second double has additional privacy, as its separate from the main house, in a traditional building known as a lamia. This room has a spectacular Venetian blind-shaded view across olive groves from a large plate-glass window, and an ensuite bathroom, again with double sinks and big sunken bath and shower.
The two twins are back in the main house, leading off the main living area, with French windows giving onto the front or back of the house. They share a central bathroom, which has a large round tub and shower. Floors throughout are Cisternino limestone.
LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM:
The living room and dining room are open plan, with cream leather sofas centered on a minimalist open fireplace in the sitting room and a large oak dining table.
OUTDOORS:
Trullo Bianco has the beautiful local Fasano limestone flooring throughout. The position on a hill side with stunning views over a valley toward Cisternino and Locorotondo is only 40 minutes from Brindisi airport and 1.5 hours from Bari airport.
