San Casciano is at the highest point in the hills separating Val di Pesa from Val di Greve along the Cassian Way. Owned by Florentine bishops since its inception, San Casciano became a part of the Florentine Republic in the thirteenth century and was then fortified to become a castle and outpost to defend against threats coming from the Siena countryside.

Villa al Sole is surrounded by a large garden, which also includes a swimming pool, and it is the ideal spot for fun and relaxation. The six-bedroom, five-bath villa has been beautifully decorated by its owners. The ground floor of the villa features a spacious living area, which connects with the dining room on one side and the game room on the other. The rooms both open onto the garden. This floor also includes the kitchen, the laundry room, a utility room, a guest bathroom, a suite with sitting room and a double bedroom with bathroom.

FIRST FLOOR:

Stairs from the entrance hall lead up to the second sitting room. To the left, the master bedroom has a walk-in closet and en suite bathroom with tub. Another double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower stands alongside a twin bedroom. There are two more twin bedrooms that share a bathroom with tub. Air-conditioning in 3 bedrooms only!
