This spectacular apartment building started its life in the late 1800's as the first hotel in the as yet undiscovered town of Positano, a small and rustic fishing village between Sorrento and Amalfi. It was bought by the present owners after World War I and in 1995 it was closed and remodeling began to convert the hotel to modern apartments. After many years of painstaking work, four newly renovated luxury apartments are now available. On the bottom two floors below street level, (on the cliffside) and thus very quiet, there are three one bedroom apartments and a two bedroom apartment.

All of the apartments are furnished to Architectural Digest standards; with antiques and lovely decorative features, floor to ceiling doors and windows, closets and wardrobes. All apartments have majestic views of the sea and Positano below. The property features a kitchenette, telephone, satellite TV and A/C in the bedroom only. The bus stop is conveniently located steps away as is the local food market. The main center and beach of Positano is accessible by the local orange Positano bus or by foot in less than 10 minutes.

This luxury apartment has a living room with sofa bed, a bedroom with queen-size bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower and tub and a separate closet in addition to normal storage space.

There is a long narrow balcony where you can sit and enjoy a quintessential view of Positano.
