This spectacular apartment building started its life in the late 1800's as the first hotel in the as yet undiscovered town of Positano, a small and rustic fishing village between Sorrento and Amalfi. It was bought by the present owners after World War I and in 1995 it was closed and remodeling began to convert the hotel to modern apartments. After many years of painstaking work, seven newly renovated luxury apartments are now available.

On the bottom two floors below street level (on the cliffside) and thus very quiet, there are three, one bedroom apartments and a two bedroom apartment. All are furnished to Architectural Digest's standards with antiques and lovely decorative features, floor to ceiling doors and windows, closets and wardrobes. All apartments have majestic views of the sea and Positano below. All feature kitchenettes, telephones, and satellite TV and A/c in the bedroom. The bus stop is conveniently located steps away as is the local food market. The main center and beach of Positano is accessible by the local orange Positano bus or by foot in less than 10 minutes.

A luxury style two bedroom apartment with one twin bedroom and one double bedroom and one bath with tub and shower. Small but comfortable living room and kitchenette.

The small narrow terrace has a beautiful view and enough room for dining for two.
