This spectacular apartment building started its life in the late 1800's as the first hotel in the as yet undiscovered town of Positano, a small and rustic fishing village between Sorrento and Amalfi. It was bought by the present owners after World War I and in 1995 it was closed and remodeling began to convert the hotel to modern apartments. After many years of painstaking work, four newly renovated luxury apartments are now available.
Located on the bottom two floors below street level (on the cliff side) and thus very quiet, are three one bedroom apartments and a two bedroom apartment. All are well furnished with antiques and lovely decorative features, floor to ceiling doors and windows, closets and wardrobes. All apartments have majestic views of the sea and Positano below. All feature kitchenettes, telephones, and satellite TV. The bus stop is conveniently located steps away as is the local food market. The main center and beach of Positano is accessible by the local orange Positano bus or by foot in 10-12 minutes.

APARTMENT BELLAVISTA
One floor below street level (along the cliff side) is an enchanting one bedroom unit with a very large living room (the former reception hall of the hotel) with fireplace. The sofa bed can comfortably sleep one. The bedroom has a king-size bed and the bathroom has a shower as well as hydro-massage tub. There is a small charming kitchen.
OUTDOORS:
The terrace garden is a wonderful spot for dining or relaxing with wonderful views of Positano and the sea. Also, there is direct access to the street by a private gate.

- Bellavista is located within Positano just minutes from shops, restaurants and the beaches.
- Capri is 30 minutes by boat from Positano.
- Praiano is 6 km. (10 minutes)
- Atrani and Amalfi are 19 km. (.5 hr.)
- Ravello is 26 km. (.75 hr.)
- Sorrento is 16 km. (.5 hr.)
- Pompeii is 37 km. (1 hr.)
- Naples is 60 km. (1.5 hrs.)
- Rome is 275 km. (3.5 hrs.)
