This building dates back to 1888 when it was the first hotel in Positano. All apartments have been refurbished and have a panoramic view over Positano, one of the Jewels of the Amalfi Coast. This spectacular apartment building started its life in the late 1800's as the first hotel in the as yet undiscovered town of Positano, a small and rustic fishing village between Sorrento and Amalfi. It was bought by the present owners after World War I and in 1995 it was closed and remodeling began to convert the hotel to modern apartments. After many years of painstaking work, four newly renovated luxury apartments are now available.
On the bottom two floors below street level (on the cliffside) and thus very quiet, there are 3 one bedroom apartments and a two bedroom apartment. All are furnished to Architectural Digest's standards with antiques and lovely decorative features, floor to ceiling doors and windows, closets and wardrobes. All of the apartments have majestic views of the sea and Positano below. All feature kitchenettes, telephones, and satellite TV.
The bus stop is conveniently located steps away, as is the local food market. The main center and beach of Positano is accessible by the local orange Positano bus or by foot in less than ten minutes.

An architecturally outstanding one bedroom apartment with kitchenette and a sofa bed in the living room that can sleep one guest in a pinch. The large bedroom features a canopy king-size bed and a luxury ensuite bathroom with hydro massage tub and shower.
OUTDOORS:
The huge terrace runs the length of the apartment and can be used for dining or relaxing with wonderful views of Positano and the sea. It is furnished with a dining table and chairs along with sun loungers.
