Villa Cernobbio is the private home of a prominent Italian family. This exclusive home is being offered to select clients on a very limited basis. The ideal number preferred in the house is 8 adults and 4 children.

Villa Cernobbio, is an important, elegant and spacious turn-of-the-century villa which is positioned at the water's edge on Lake Como. This is a complete retreat for a large family or group of friends. Lake Como is well-known and well-loved for its dramatic scenery and languid lifestyle -- a romantic and dreamy haven of rest. Over many centuries, Lake Como has been criss-crossed by invaders and defenders, and has inspired all manner of poetry.

Two week minimum rental in June/July/August. One week minimum May/September/October.

Arrivals: Rentals can begin on any day, Monday to Saturday. - Daily Cleaning: Monday thru Saturday. Cooking can be provided with three meals per day, with Sundays off. Staff will gladly shop upon request, however we kindly recommend that you make your selection of wine. Bed linens are changed weekly; bath linens changed mid-week and weekly. Personal laundry service (such as ironing) can be arranged and is payable by separate payment on the premises. The mattresses on the beds are a French Brand called Treca Pullman Select, and are extremely comfortable. Included in the rental is one parking place. Additional parking spaces are available nearby (1 minute walk) and will be paid by separate payment. Unobtrusive staff lives in top-floor quarters. Private boat and sea-plane service can be arranged. Children are welcome provided they are capable swimmers.

There is convenient ferry boat service nearby to visit many of other well-known lake destinations such as Como, Bellagio, Varenna and more.

GROUND FLOOR:

Spacious kitchen with dining area, entrance hall, and large sitting room with French windows.

FIRST FLOOR:

First floor Master suite with entrance hall and large ensuite bathroom. Twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom and balcony. Twin room with designer ensuite bathroom with doors on to a small terrace.

SECOND FLOOR:

Second floor Gym with treadmill, exercise bike and mats with view over the lake. Large television room with video/dvd and music system. Double bedroom and bathroom. A double bedroom and smaller twin room. Shower room.

OUTDOORS:

At the far end of the terrace is a heated infinity pool, sun loungers, seating areas for a tête-à-tête or for al fresco dining. The luxurious gardens include a palm and two huge Magnolia trees and a 200 year-old 'olio fragrance' tree which perfumes the evening air in September when it flowers. This atmosphere is designed for leisurely living and the maximum enjoyment of sun, sky and the cooling lake breezes.
