Located in Positano, a few minutes walk from the shopping and dining center, in a private gated compound overlooking the sea and surrounded by orange, lemon and olive trees. Hundreds of years ago in Positano water was stored in Roman style arched cisterns built in their gardens. The houses built nearby were named for what was near, and thus Acquabuona was built and later Casamare was built above it. Just a quick five minute walk from the shopping and dining center of Positano, the estate is a private gated compound overlooking the bay surrounded by citrus and olive trees, flowers and vegetable gardens. Like Acquabuona and Il Saraceno there is a private staircase to a small beach below the Il Saraceno property. The local grocery store accepts credit cards and delivers.
Access to Casamare is easy; the path is broad with about 85 steps. The owners are both noted designers of theater, hotels and costumes for opera, theater and cinema and their talents are amply reflected in the care and taste of the decoration of all the units of their properties which include Casamare. We know you will find Casamare a lovely and relaxing location for a vacation in Positano.

MAIN FLOOR:
The Casamare apartment consists of a large master bedroom with in-suite bath with tub. There is a second bath with shower and washing machine. The living room has a sofa bed that sleeps two. Adjoining the living room is a small fully fitted kitchen. There is also satellite TV., heating and A/C. All rooms have balconies overlooking the sea.
OUTDOORS:
The apartment has a comfortable terrace with views of the sea and the Galli Islands that is bathed in sun all day featuring deck chairs and table and chairs for al fresco dining or entertaining.
