Bordering on the garden of Villa Il Castello stands the smaller and very well appointed Villa La Capanna, located right in the village of San Giovanni d'Asso. The property was wonderful - the pictures did justice to it. The views were marvelous, and we were well attended by Francisco. Overall, we had a great experience.

The house has its own private entrance which leads out onto a “patio” furnished with a table, chairs and a large umbrella. The small private swimming pool (6x 8 sqm) is daily maintained by a gardener. Down a set of stairs (4 steps) you find an open space with sunbeds and deckchairs. At the end of this space there is a complete bathroom-changing room close to an antique well (XIVth century) closed by a grate.

GROUND FLOOR: Entering the house from the terrace you’ll find yourself in a wide room, which is divided in several areas: a sitting room with a big XVIth century fireplace, a dining area and a kitchen equipped with fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and a little oven.
FIRST FLOOR: An iron and travertine staircase leads you to the first floor, where two duble-bedded and one twin-bedded are located, sharing two bathrooms with shower. All the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and fans. The house is also provided with an independent central heating and fireplace. All bed linen and towels are included.
