Acquabuona is a two bedroom, two bath apartment with a huge private garden terrace and a stunning view. It is located next to Il Saraceno a 12th-century Saracen tower that has a commanding view over the bay and town of Positano. Aquabuona was once a cistern, which can be seen in the half-meter-thick walls. These provide the added benefit of cooling the house even on hot days, aided by the use of traditional wooden shutters. Acquabuona is furnished with a comfortable sofabed and armchairs for five; TV with satellite; VCR; CD/tape player/radio, electric heat and A/C along with an antique dining table that will accommodate four to six people. The upper floor, Casamare (also seen on our web site), provides separate accommodations for an additional two to four guests. Our Villa Nora is the combination of both of these properties.

Conveniently located, Acquabuona is part of a private, gated enclave, a short walk down a gentle flight of steps and a pathway.

Accommodations

GROUND FLOOR:

The simple kitchen has a four-burner gas stove, oven, microwave, double sinks, and a dishwasher. It opens directly to the terrace. The master bedroom, located at one end of this floor, has a king size bed and en-suite bath with tub and shower and french doors leading to the terrace. The second bedroom, located at the opposite end of this floor, also has French doors to the terrace and two twin beds (which can be joined to make a queen-sized bed) and en-suite bathroom with shower. There is a small room with a washing machine located off the terrace.

OUTDOORS:

The huge terrace spans the entire length of the structure and is flanked by a flower garden on one end and a covered dining area and open sun area on the other. From the terrace there is a private staircase of a few hundred steps to a semi-private beach accessible only by the houses on the property or by boat. This beach offers no services.

• Acquabuona is located within Positano just minutes from shops, restaurants and the beaches.
• Capri is 30 minutes by boat from Positano.

• Sorrento is 16 km. (.5 hr.)
